What is Methylated spirits used for? Windows, glass, mirrors, benchtops, sterile surfaces and medical equipment, mealy bugs, clean smelly shoes and general all round cleaning.
Is methylated spirit the same as alcohol? No, Methylated spirits are manufactured with cleaning alcohol, also known as denatured alcohol, whereas drinking alcohol has a different manufacturing process, making it safe to drink.
Can I use methylated spirits on my skin and private parts? No, you cannot; regular contact with methylated spirits dries the skin, eventually causing irritation and further damage.
